About Habesha Hub

Habesha Hub is a community marketplace built to bring the Ethiopian and Eritrean diaspora together in one place. Whether you're looking for a trusted hair stylist, a room to rent, a job opportunity, an item to buy or sell, or an upcoming cultural event, Habesha Hub makes it easy to find what you need from people who share your background, language, and values.

Our platform is for anyone in the Habesha community across the United States and Canada — newcomers settling into a new city, families searching for reliable local services, entrepreneurs promoting their small businesses, and community organizers spreading the word about events. Instead of scattered social media posts and group chats, Habesha Hub organizes everything into simple, searchable categories: Services, Housing, Jobs, Buy/Sell, and Events.

Habesha Hub is built by a small team of diaspora community members who saw firsthand how hard it can be to find trustworthy, culturally connected help in a new country. We combined that lived experience with modern technology to create a platform that feels like home — easy to use, welcoming, and focused entirely on serving the Habesha community. Our goal is simple: help our people find each other, support one another, and thrive together.
